Tech site The Verge recently posted an article around a Siri shortcut which triggers when you say “Hey Siri, I’m getting pulled over” and subsequently dims your phone, pauses any music being played, and starts recording video from your front-facing camera.

This iOS Shortcut has certainly grabbed it headlines and publicity over the last few days, despite being developed and available since 2018.

We support these issues and for social injustice to be highlighted and discussed in anyway possible, in a peaceful manner. If it leads to true change then we are all for that. When it comes to our topic and passion of personal and smart home automation we hope this doesn’t politicise the topic. Automation allows you system-atise the things that are important to you, to make your life more efficient and effective, supporting and allowing you to focus on the things that matter to you. This shortcut definitely does that.
